What is Moonlit Meadow about?
It is a romance that starts out during the height of winter, when a very independent, strong willed woman attends a party at a mysterious strangers mansion. She grew up not knowing her ancestral ties to the world of Fae, but it seems her host does. Did he lure her there for the right intentions? Will she tolerate his attempts to get to know her better?
Inside Info: The Comet Year
You will notice on the cover-in the year of the comet 2248. This is not a future date. My apologies. I know this has been confusing. The story is not set in 2248. What that refers to is when a certain magical comet passed by the earth. In the Willow’s Moon Song Series universe, the time table for each book is based on how long its been since the magical comet passed. The book Ceremony of the Rose is set in 2232. One of the main characters: Robin, who is in Moonlit Meadow is sixteen years younger in that book. In future books I will make it more clear. Live and Learn!

I am also an artist/illustrator and all my book covers and internal images and the banner above were painted by me. I love creating whimsical and fantasy art. I have had a passion for art and writing since I was a kid. I’m thrilled now to have more time in my life to let my imagination fly!

Today’s Inside Info. The Poem: Come To Me
At the beginning of all the Willow’s Moon Song books I try to include a poem: The one in Moonlit Meadow I wrote years before the book. It was a collaborative writing experiment on a message board. I tucked it away and began writing the other books. Found, it just popped that it needed to be expanded into a whole story. Because I love to have my books pop off the page, I am making small booklets of the poem just like the one Miss Moon gave Diana.
The image with the poem is from my “Spring Equinox” painting. Where the Winter King must yield to Lady Spring.
Discussion Questions;
When Diana steps into the mansion, she gets a weird sensation that no one else seems to. Why do you think that is?
In the first chapters Diana makes some risky decisions going against her nature. Would you do the same? Would you stay in that big spooky place with a mysterious host?

We are back into summer heat!
I adore my characters. Moonlit Meadow is really Diana’s origin story: Raised in foster care she was never told she had elven DNA. It’s not until she attends Delano’s party that she starts to feel something wake up inside her. Is he waking up her abilities or is his enchanted home? Or, is it just time for it to happen? What do you think?

You will find in all my books a bunch of fun side characters. Sometimes they appear in other books because I can’t get enough of them! And sometimes they are not human. In Moonlit Meadow you will find four main magical animals. Can you name them?

The Willow’s Moon Song Universe Fae Rules
Rule #1: There are Fae living among us, seen or unseen.
Since I was young, every-time I heard a ghost story, or later watched ghost hunter shows, I couldn’t help but think, what if ghosts are actually Fae? Shadow people are fairies?
In the folklore of many countries, fairies and elves live in their own realms and they can access our human world when they want to. It’s believed you can catch glimpses of them during the magical changing light of twilight or sunrise, but mostly you will see them when they want to be seen. Until then, they hide from us.
In my Willow’s Moon Song series there are Fae characters that have to live among humans, and appear as humans, such as Delano and Tobias in Moonlit Meadow. The other characters with some elf blood live human lives and can be seen by everyone. Then there are the others that hide in the woods, attics, waters, a back alley in Boston, who avoid being seen by anyone without Fae blood…unless, they choose to be seen-you will find them in Breathless Nights.
Have you seen a fairy? I did spend hours crawling in a meadow near my home as a kid, creating secret “rooms”. Was I helping them?
